Whoa…did not see that one coming! Snoop utilized the entire forumla; released a racey and buzz worthy first single, showcased his wide variety of A list and iconic producers on his own top rated reality show, press junkets surrounding both his album and show…on and on.
I thought SURELY Snoop was rolling in at old numero uno. How could he not? Put everything else aside (including my personal preferance for rock over hip hop), he’s the D.O. double G, HE is an icon, whatever he touches doesn’t even turn gold…it turns PLATINUM.
But alas, not this time. Snoop debuted at a (respectable, yet surprising) number 3. Don’t even get me started about the other piece of commercial crap that knocked him down off the top 2 spots “Now That’s What I Call Garbage Volume 27″.
What does Rick Ross have other than his owns Cribs episode?
Someone, please explain this to me…
