New Years Eve…Cobra Starship
December 31st, 2007 · No Comments
I hope you got to rest up during the holidays because we’re about to wreck shop on New Year’s.
Tune into MTV at 11pm on New Year’s Eve where we’re gonna be a featured guest. Actually, just set your Tivo to record that shit and go out and get crunk, cause that’s what we’re gonna be doing…except we gun be doin it on national TV papi!!!!!
Our new video for “City’s At War” will be premiering on mtv.com all night long, and we will also be kicking off our reign as MTV’s first “Artist of the Week” of 2008! That means Cobra, all day, every day, starting New Years Eve!
(We filmed all these skits, acoustic performances, and behind the scenes stuff that will be played before commercial breaks and in between TV shows all week on MTV)
The video is delicious–we can’t wait for you guys to see it. 2 more days. Anyway…gotta go! We’re in the studio right now cleaning up the lyrics a little. Even nasty boys gotta clean up every now and then. ROWR!

Speaking of new albums…Green Day fan, and rock god in and of himself Bono is speaking out about the new U2 project.
Like Green Day, U2 have not had a release since that fabulous year in music, 2004, when they released “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb”.
Bono is warning fans that they will “feel the difference”
“U2 in dancefloor shock!” joked Bono. “Normally when you play a U2 tune, it clears the dancefloor. And that may not be true of this. There’s some trance influences. But there’s some very hardcore guitar coming out of the Edge. Real molten metal. It’s not like anything we’ve ever done before, and we don’t think it sounds like anything anyone else has done either.” Says Bono
The band is currently recording in the South of France.

Scott Weiland Arrested
December 3rd, 2007 · No Comments
Just one more thing to add to his pending auto biography.
This time it’s a DUI, and even more amazing, he was able to keep it quiet until today when TMZ got their sneaky little paws on his police report.
Weiland failed the sobriety test and refused a breathalizer, which pretty much automatically makes you GUILTY. I get it, you’re a rockstar…you booze it up…fine but don’t drive!!!
Check out his sexy mugshot

“Delivering a brand of anthemic pop-rock with jagged edges, ivoryline certainly has a winning formula. Also apparent, Ivoryline clearly have their gaze firmly set on the top.”
