In the words of the immortal double rainbow guy - “What does this MEAN!?”
It means a new video with a star studded cast in anticipation of Travis Barker’s latest project. In a recent HipHopDX interview Travis Barker spoke briefly on his untitled solo project: “It’s been amazing. Everyone from like RZA, and Raekwon to Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Slaughterhouse. It’s crazy. It’s been really really fun. We just got Kurupt on a song, so I’ve been working my butt off. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Barker’s album is due out this September, more photos from the video shoot after the jump.
One of my favorite joints of the moment. Badu never fails me. Video is inspired by a Matt and Kim song called “Lessons Learned” which was filmed in Times Square. I saw their video first several months ago and thought it was a pretty cool concept. Erykah spins her own take on the idea by putting it in a different context, shot in her hometown of Dallas. Still dope. Click on the image below to check out her new video premiering this weekend at www.erykahbadu.com
