On Tuesday, November 11th
With a Performance, Party & Rally Event @ DON HILLS
“The raunchy new Wendy O. Williams of rock ‘n roll”
– Metro Times Detroit
WHAT:
“TAKE BACK NEW YORK” – Queen V is campaigning to resuscitate the spirit of New York City through monthly live music events by rallying people to recognize, remember and celebrate the lost NYC underground and to give something back to those in our city who are in need. Proceeds from last night’s (Tuesday, November 13th) event were donated to Axis of Justice (http://www.axisofjustice.org <http://www.axisofjustice.org> ) – the non-profit organization formed by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Serj Tankian of System of a Down – and Picture the Homeless (http://www.picturethehomeless.org <http://www.picturethehomeless.org> ) to benefit the homeless in NYC. There will be a suggested $5 minimum donation at the door.
Queen V’s usual circle of staple NYC notables, musicians and people who love music included guest jammers like HATEBREED drummer, Matt Byrne; Patti Smith Group’s Lenny Kaye, and others who jumped on stage with her to “TAKE BACK NEW YORK.”
WHO:
Queen V is a female rocker whose December 2007 EP from the forthcoming album Death or Glory (Royal Noise Recordings), features guest appearances by heavy hitter musicians, as well as the engineering skills of Ron St. Germain (Bad Brains, Tool). The EP will be available for purchase on Tuesday, December 11th, which is also the date of the next “TAKE BACK NEW YORK” event.

It has been a worldwind week for Victoria’s Secret. Rumor on the street was that Kanye had been going back and forth since his mother’s passing on whether or not he would be performing as schedule at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (which taped yesterday in LA).
The day before filming, he decided to pull out, unable to give it his all. Although completely understood-this put VS into a scramble to find an artist with a show they could pull off in LA with little to no rehersal time.
The answer, Will.I.AM stepped up to the plate at the last second according to his rep. Check the show out, it airs December 6th to see how he does in the rushed situation.

Jive and friends have pissed me off today. Someone involved with what i’m sure is the label has taken down the video we posted earlier today featuring Brit’s stand in rocking the VMA performance.
Well just for that, I’m posting this split screen of Brit’s performance and the stand in’s performance-you haven’t gotten to this one yet.
We were trying to play nice….

reports are still swimming around surrounding “VMA-Gate”. Britney, who for reasons we already know, hardly rehearsed her VMA “comeback” routine and instead most of the time had a stand in do the dirty work. Newly posted on YouTube is the below clip, a tape of Brit’s stand in doing the real choreography for the routine. The stand in isn’t even nearly as talented a dancer as Brit and it still looks HOT. Too bad Brit couldn’t deliver, it would have been really quite amazing…what the public and her fans expect.
**we’re experiencing technical difficulties at the moment, so until we get our Youtube player working, please check out the clip here

We’re so proud of our little Amy, she has made a vow of sobriety…well at least a vow to not hit the bottle PRIOR to a show.
Hey, it’s a step. Check out this video of Amy bringing the goods to a show in Amsterdam…not quite sure if that was the best place to bring her….
