Truthfully, I have no idea what these guys think they know about sneakers… I am a sneakerhead, I can’t go more than a month or 2 without dying for some new pair that drops but surprisingly Business Week did an ok job.

“Coolest” is a tough term to define but I figure it’s a combination of most demanded, best looking and most talked about…

So you ask, what did I add to my sneaker closet in 2009?  Yes, I have a sneaker closest.

In order of my 10 favorite additions this year.

1.) Yeezy’s…yeah I did it

2.) Air Jordan 1s…patent leather…FINALLY, I really never felt complete with my collection until I had these

3.) Hyperdunks…to play basketball in which I do weekly

4.) DJ AM Memorial Sneaker auction for Charity: Air Force 1s.  RIP

5.) Rocawear R+ Evolution…Jay-Z came with it.

6.) Jordan 7’s defining moments pack…arguably my favorite pair from a kid.  It was all about 4’s, 5’s & 7’s.  Space Jams were sick too

7.) Jordan 7’s defining moments pack…6 & 7 slot because there were 2, it was the Bulls/Orlando pack

8.) Nike SB “McFly 2015″…so it was my favorite movie growing up, waiting for the hover board to be released

9.) Air Stab’s given to me by fellow Vicarious Music employee, Christian.  Arguably my most complimented pair of this year

10.) Giving the final slot to my several P-Rods and Air Force 1s…in varies colors, just an every day thing.

I was tempted by Supra and Reebox Pumps but have not made the jump yet.
