Cuttino Mobley retired from the NBA on Thursday because of heart disease that has gotten worse. Doctors said he faced significant risks if he kept playing. He announced his decision at a news conference where he confirmed he has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Mobley, 33, is an 11year veteran. He’s played for the Rockets, Magic, Kings, Clippers and was just traded to the Knicks. All the best Cuttino, stay well! The Kings fried Coach Reggie Theus on Monday, just two days after the Kings lost to the Knicks 114-90. The. Assistant coach, Kenny Natt, has been made interim coach. Natt is Sacramento’s fourth coach in less than three years. The Lakers have a 20-3 record, second best in the NBA behind Boston’s 22-2.
