David Duchovny…or Hank Moody as many of us know him these days on Californication, has announced that he has checked himself into rehab.

For what you ask? Why sex addiction of course…art imitates real life.

In a statement Duchovny says:

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

He has been married to actress Tea Leoni for 10 years and they have 2 kids together.  I bet some shit’s gonna start flying-no one voluntarily enters treatment for SEX addiction unless they’ve been caught…repeatedly!
