Wilco is incredible live! Last night they encouraged the crowd to keep the beat (by hand clapping) and the Brooklyn crowd changed the beat, which then lead to the below.
“It’s like my dad said about Bob Dylan…I don’t know what he’s been smoking but he’s a free thinker. So Whatever… Feel free to sing along and change the lyrics on this one, ok?”

I had my reservations about seeing Wilco last night, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. Wilco put on an amazing show. It might have been the setting, but the band had great fan interaction that kept the crowd involved during the entire show including the 2 encores. One of the better shows I have seen this year.

Damn. Missed this show. Must have been off free thinking somewhere… Nice to know they have a sense of humor about that sort of stuff though.

What a way to spend a summer’s night…my husband insists HE got the new clapping beat going….and I think he might have! GOOD TIMES in BROOKLYN!!!

One thing, though…the people in the crowd talk WAY TOO FREAKING MUCH!!! Everywhere I stood, people stood around and TALKED!! Shut up and listen, Folks!! You might actually like what you hear!!
