The pool the the NFL has to choose from is quite small since nipplegate and various other scandalous former halftime shows. Additionally, someone like the Hannah Montana chick or those crazy kids of High School Musical don’t appeal to the right demographic.
Petty seems like an OK choice given the parameters.
Just one more thing to add to his pending auto biography.
This time it’s a DUI, and even more amazing, he was able to keep it quiet until today when TMZ got their sneaky little paws on his police report.
Weiland failed the sobriety test and refused a breathalizer, which pretty much automatically makes you GUILTY. I get it, you’re a rockstar…you booze it up…fine but don’t drive!!!
So I thought it was a rumor, but there’s a picture to go along with it…
so unless someone out there is very clever with photoshop-I’m going to have to believe this one. It is said that in the wake of countless troubles right now, Amy Winehouse was found wandering the freezing cold streets of london last night looking like this:
It was 5:45 in the AM, and she was top and shoe less. Her rep has defended Wino saying that she heard a noise that woke her up, and she went outside to check it out.
You’ve heard the rumors by now…see below for Pete’s response:
Pete Wentz has denied reports that he sent a cease and desist notice to Canadian band Neurosonic.
The band, who played a show at New York’s Knitting Factory last week, wrote a song entitled ‘So Many People’ in response to Simpson’s notorious ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance when the wrong backing track was played and she was proven to be lip-synching. Simpson ran offstage on live television.
‘Pete Wentz has a cease and desist out against us’ singer Jason Darr told the crowd in New York, prompting a gossip-piece in the New York Post’s Page Six column.
Wentz responded to the report on his blog where he says he has not even heard of the up-and-coming metallers.
“I have never heard of that band or ever sent a cease and desist in my life”, Wentz wrote. “Hope it works out for you”.
He went on to say:
“I’m still not gonna have a fight in the press - its one thing I am really proud of myself for this year. If your songs are good then sleep easy and have fun playing them - just don’t attach me to them.”
