New York, NY – October 23, 2007)   Being two-timed never felt so good.  Due to U.S. music fans’ roaring welcome of British sensation Amy Winehouse’s platinum-plus U.S. debut effort, Back To Black, Universal Republic Records announces today the nationwide release of her widely heralded UK debut, Frank, scheduled to hit record stores and the digital domain on November 20, 2007.  

Released in England in 2003, Frank was hailed by British pop critics as a stunning introduction to Winehouse’s soulful and starkly original sound, with leading UK newspaper The Guardian citing her as a “a colossal vocal talent.”  American music audiences who were introduced to Winehouse via the bluesy and brazen Back To Black will appreciate Frank’s gliding jazz and R&B leanings.  Produced by hip-hop helmsman Salaam Remi (who also produced five tracks on Back To Black), the disc was nominated for two BRIT awards, as well as a Mercury Music Prize.   

The singer will be offering home entertainment fans a unique glimpse of her unvarnished live show with the release of a special live DVD this fall, I Told You I Was Trouble, which will hit stores on November 13.  The multi-award winning Winehouse is captured at her provocative in-concert best on the deluxe DVD offering, serving up an emotive 60 minute live concert performance at London’s century old Shepherd’s Bush Empire.  Rare bonus material is also included, featuring a 50-minute film chronicling the star’s incredible rise as one of music’s most authentic new singer/songwriters.  Other special highlights: Never-before-seen early performances and a rollicking interview with Amy’s dear ol’ dad. 

This unique live DVD set should satisfy U.S. music fans’ desire to see Winehouse perform songs from both Back To Black and Frank until she hits
U.S. stages in January to start her 2008 US Tour.
