Billie Joe Armstrong claims Britney Spears is “a manufactured child” who has been “thrown to the lions” by the world’s media.continue reading…
seems like everyone’s weighing in and trying to excuse this broad’s behaviours…But not for nothing Billie Joe, you’ve been the center of Rock/Pop limelight more than once and have managed to raise a child (quite well I may add) and hold together a family (his wife is essentially his high school sweetheart)…
Looking like Brit’s poised for the number 1 position on the top 200 charts this week…she’s currently on point to debut with 350k albums.
Laugh it up Brit, turns out this is all on a technicality. This week’s true #1 title rightfully belongs to The Eagles who are estimated to be selling 700k by tomorrow. Their exclusive sales deal with Wal-Mart prevents them from charting.
There was no greater end to a movie than Cruel Intentions’ triumphant dismantling of the evil Kathryn Mertueil accompanied by the haunting chords of The Verve’s epic “Bitter Sweet Symphony”.
The song has since become a classic, still chilling to the core even now.
Sadly the band was plagued by turmoil perpetuated by an illegal Rolling Stones sample used in “Bittersweet Symphony”…The Rolling Stones sued and were awarded 100% of all royalties made on the song, including money garnered from the Cruel Intentions license and alter a lucritive Nike deal. This was the beginning of the end for a band with the potential to be #1.
10 years later, all tensions aside, The Verve made a “trimphant return” Friday night with their very first reunion concert at Glasgow Academy. It’s the beginning of a U.K tour that will lead into the recording of a 5th studio album.
The talent this band displays is undeniable…we just hope they can hold it together this time.
What is said to be the album cover for Lil Wayne’s forthcoming Tha Carter III has just surfaced….
We however, are a bit skeptical. Our sources tell us this record has been pushed for release to 08, and theres a “The Leaks” album coming first since most tracks that were supposed to appear on Tha Carter III ended up on the internet….
Lovin’ the song, however I’m pretty much over hip hop artists trying to act like rock stars. Hype, you’re one of the greatest but damn your shit’s getting tired
