Hurricane Chris - A Bay Bay Single
I like this song. It has a good beat, and makes me laugh! I believe he’s touring right now, and actually later this month he is scheduled to be on one my local radio stations here in Minnesota, for an interview. This single is great for a club, and of course if you’ve been to any of the local clubs in the last couple of months, I’m sure you’ve heard it. It really gets the crowd goin. He’s only 18 years old and damn, for being 18 he’s made a name for himself!! I’d recommend this to anyone that likes to dance, loves a good beat, and likes to laugh a little. I love it. “A bay bay” The way it’s spelled simply makes it ten times better.

Amy holds it together

October 25th, 2007 · No Comments

We’re so proud of our little Amy, she has made a vow of sobriety…well at least a vow to not hit the bottle PRIOR to a show.

Hey, it’s a step. Check out this video of Amy bringing the goods to a show in Amsterdam…not quite sure if that was the best place to bring her….

Do the right thing…

October 24th, 2007 · No Comments

As we reluctantly reported last week, a new Kurt Cobain biopic is in the works…

If they’re going to do it, they better do it the RIGHT way and that means hiring reputable actors, writers, directors, producers, etc to tell the tale.

So far, rumor has it James McAvoy (Last King of Scotland) is the front runner choice to play the legend, and David Benioff is signed on to write the screenplay.  Benioff is best known for a little film called Troy

Bottom line, we’re skeptical about the authenticity of this film due to one such executive producer name Courtney Love…do the right thing for once, please.

New Radiohead Tour in the Works for 2008

October 23rd, 2007 · No Comments

Billboard.com is reporting that a 2008 international Radiohead tour is in the works. Don’t be fooled, though. Anyone who has seen Meeting People is Easy (which I highly recommend) can tell you that the members of Radiohead are far from enamoured with the concept of touring. Expect the tour to be scattered and stick to the big cities. The Billboard piece quotes Bryce Edge as saying “He (Thom) likes to do shows, but the whole business of schlepping around the world is not top of his list of favorite things to do. He really enjoys playing to the fans — it’s just the process of how to do that which is the pain in the neck (for Yorke). They’re not road dogs. They never have been.”

Radiohead is by and far the best live act these days. Their music and their ability to develop their songs in a live forum is unparalleled. Unfortunately, this is a common opinion. I fully expect the 2008 tour to be sold out far before the tickets go on sale to the public. Maybe this is part of what Yorke dislikes about touring. As a fan, I can only hope.
