Led Zeppelin to reunite?
July 2nd, 2007 · 1 Comment
“Led Zeppelin are in talks to reunite for a memorial concert. The band are apparently in discussions to reform for a one-off gig in London for their late record boss Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. It is thought singer Robert Plant guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones will re-group alongside late drummer John Bonham’s son Jason for the gig. A source close to the band said: “Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date.”

I HAVE READ TODAY ALL THE DIFFERENT COMMENTS ON LED ZEPPELIN RE-FORMING, MANY PEOPLE HAVE VALID POINTS, PROS AND CONS,
BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT THE SHEER SCALE AND MONUMENTAL STAGING
OF SUCH A BAND RE-FORMING ECLIPSES ALL THE JEAULOSY AND BAND COMPARING, THAT INVETABLY HAPPENS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS GREAT FOR MUSIC, YES PEOPLE MAY BE DISAPPOINTED WHO
WERE LOOKING FOR THE PERCY OF 1975, THE JONES/BONHAM
DESTRUCTIVE RYTHM SECTION, THE LEAN PAGE. BUT I PERSONALLY WOULD RE-MORTGAGE MY HOUSE TO THESE THREE IN ACTION. THIS IS AFTER SEEING PAGE/PLANT TWICE WHICH I REGARDED AS AVERAGE
