Just weeks after Akon caused controversy by grinding a 14-year-old girl on stage, the performer is being investigated by police.

During a WSPK-FM concert, KFEST, Akon threw a fan into the audience. The star claims that it was all part of the festivities, but police think differently.

During his performance, a young fan threw props at the singer. Akon was not impressed and had security onto the situation immediately - finding the offender and bringing him onto the stage.

Rather than talk the incident out, Akon threw the fan back into the crowd.
